Ethan Constable Picks Up Second Straight Podium at Sunset Speedway
INNSFIL, Ontario — Things are rolling exactly how Ethan Constable would like at Sunset Speedway as he picked up his second consecutive podium finish on Saturday night.
Constable started off the night in victory lane, winning the opening heat for his second win of the 2018 campaign. He then backed it up with a solid fifth in his second qualifier.
Starting the feature from the third position, he’d battle side-by-side with Dustyn Mombourquette in the early stages for the runner-up spot, taking it on Lap 2. He’d remain there until he was passed just before the halfway mark. Fading back to fourth by the halfway mark, he’d work his way back up towards the front, passing Dan Archibald with eight laps to go cross the finish line in the third position.
It marks his second straight podium finish, following a season-best runner-up. It also marks the eighth top-10 of 2018.
