Just letting everyone know to come out and support your local special olympic athletes. South Simcoe Superstars would like to extend a special invite to come out and support not only your local club,but their special guest clubs from Barrie and Newmarket. Most of these athletes are on a fixed income and some were actually involved with racing in one way or another before their handicap. This opportunity allows them to experience the thrill of racing for which they may never of had the opportunity. A very special thanks goes out to Wes and Pat for allowing the South Simcoe Organization to attend an evening of races at sunset because without their cooperation and generousity this evening could never have come together. South Simcoe Special Olympics will have a display inside the main gate with posters,pins,balloons etc. for all. They will also be selling tickets towards a 50\50 draw. Stompin Tom Walters has volunteered to be the nights goodwill ambasador for the athletes and will driving with the special olympics symbol on his car for the evening. We hope to see you all at sunset speedway on aug.9th.
