If a race is under caution, and some moron drives into another car, spins him sideways, and pushes the car down the straight with his rear tires smoking cause he has his foot burried in it. should the car he rammed(under caution)be sent to the back?

What is this some kind of trick question? of course not!!!

Thanks for confirming that DEIFAN, I thought that if you didn't pay for a pad in years gone by that you had to use the dirt ones at the end of the track, towards the on / off ramp. That is how Slaughters did it, isn't it?

Dodgeguy- Looks like your planning on running somewhere else rather than Barrie???

Geez i hope the fans won't miss the 14 car being lapped all night long, seems like dodgeguy forgot about all the money spent on lighting the track, the exposure and subsequent sponsorship opportunities available with the RogersTV Deal. and by far the best facility and payouts in the area, Not bad for someone that has zero racing knowledge, everyone is entitled to their opinion but to say Mr Coates has zero racing knowledge is laughable...

Snaker I have to agree with you these people are underestimating Mr Coates ability here just a little!!!!

The whole purpose in pouring the pads was to rent them to the drivers!!!!! Do I need to say more?  It has always been that way.

Alrighty... just checking, thanks. Makes total sence, but maybe this year Glenn has changed it. But that is what I meant in my previous posts.

Kelly your wrong, I just spoke with Steve Slaughter Jr. and he told me that his dad would tell the driver, yes you can use a paid, but the cost would be taken off of each nights winnings until paid for. And if the driver said no, they were made to park in the dirt. Steve told me to tell you that if you would like to see the forms that they used to use to do this, he would be more then happy to dig them out for you. He did this for both the cost of the pad's and the cost of the registration. Some guys didn't have the money all upfront.

Its fun when I can answer my own question. I talked with Keith at the Kicx Display at Zehrs earlier this evening. The number will be 19K...due to sponsor tie ups. But i agree with Keith when i talked with him about the whole incident. All it was, was the two got hooked together and when they seperated Walters was heading towards the wall over corrected and the car came around. Keith said that he left because it was an unsafe move because he was being pushed towards the saftey crew which was moving onto the track which would have been bad if they got hit. So in the end a stupid move which put alot of people at risk. Word came from Coates himself who said that nothing was going to happen and "rules had been changed" so that in the end there is less safety and more fighting.

Also DEIFAN....Walters will run 4 ALSTAR races...the two Sunset and Barrie races and more if possible. This was told in last months issue of inside track as there was a small article on Tom in there and tv is alot different than person.

Well now I've been reading this forum for a while now and it always seems like everyone hears a story from everyone who hears it from someone etc etc, you know what I mean. So far I haven't heard the true story of what happened last saturday from one person. So let's try this one. What really happened was this. McLeod spun Walters in practice, then spun him in the heat, at which time he was warned by Walters that if he did it again, he would pay for it. So what did he do, he spun Walters again in the feature! McLeod got what was coming to him. Funny how he can dish it out, but the first time that somebody gives it back to him, he leaves. Well good riddens Keith. The boys at Sunset sure won't take your crap either.
Keith, you have a great car and you would have been a contender for the points championship, on the other hand Walters' car isn't exactly the best out there, so what were you trying to prove by spinning him out over and over???
Mind you the officiating at barrie isn't exactly the best either, if the proper calls had of been made that night (104 should have been sent to the back for spinning 1) then none of this would have happened in the first place.
But that's just my spin on what happened that night.  8)
Oh and Walters won't be racing the Alstar tonight at Sunset, he'll be at Barrie.

hey dodgedick i have no idea who you are nor do i care i just recognized the car from last year and thought it was kinda funny that a last place slug could be so "knowledgeable" about racing...why dont you grow some nuts and get your car on a track and embarass yourself there instead of here
