2013 Velocity Rules

LLM
202 Valves add 25 Lb
Hoosier  8 “ 980 Tires only, Tires you start the feature on will be the tires you finish on only tire that can be changed is a flat, if tire is deemed not to be flat one lap penalty.
No wide 5, Coil over, 603, 604 motors or Small clutches.
 All other Home Track rules

Super Stock/Thunder Cars

Tires 8“Towel City treaded only
All other home track rules

Mini Stock

Minimum weight is 2200 pounds including driver for all 2000 cc and larger engines and all Honda's.
Cars under 2000cc. weight 2000 lbs.
Nissan 240 SX minimum weight 2600lbs.
Minimum weight for DOHC engines start @ 2500 lb
      No Racing tires all tires must meet 200 tread wear
      All other Home Track rules

Speedway reserves the right to adjust weight in all classes to tighten field please have lead with you and a copy of your home track rules

Race Format

24 Cars LLM and SS/Thunder (28 Mini)
Draw number for heat starting position
Double heat format with inversion
If more than 24(28mini) cars attempting to qualify though heats, the top 18 earners are locked in, if there are ties or no points, it will be determined by finishing position of your first heat, the next six (ten mini) will come out of the consi.
Inversion will be a double dice roll for positions 1 to 12 and will be rolled by the top point’s earners in the heat races.

Great race it was..thanks to mark and staff.. Over 200 cars sat.. For thunders 72 won a heat..then sauble cars of 36 00 61 47 won a heat..not sure who won 6 th heat.. Sunday final was 72.. Then cars from sauble.. 47 beat 36 to the line by 3 feet.. Then 30 61 00 37..great runs by all..

How tough was the mini stock field when the 2012 sauble & flamboro champs, 2013 Barrie, Varney, flamboro and sunset champs can,t even crack the top 5.

[Race Captain]

What a " GREAT WEEKEND of RACING " to wind up an exciting year of racing at the Speedway.  A "BIG" thankyou to ALL drivers and crews from the surrounding tracks. Especially to the teams that hauled all the way from Sault Saint Marie, thank you for your coming down , that 7 hour drive.  To the track management, staff, B&B Towing, St John First Aid, Foxes Buns Master Bakery for ALL the fresh buns. To the owners, Steve, Mark for ALL your hard work to make this year, bigger and better each year.  May you ALL have a great time off, till May 2014.  THANK YOU.

How tough was the mini stock field when the 2012 sauble & flamboro champs, 2013 Barrie, Varney, flamboro and sunset champs can,t even crack the top 5.

Sunsets 2nd place car ran 2nd the whole race until he lost brakes on the 3 to go restart..

haven't seen any rundown one who came where in any of the races except for a bit on thunders. anyone care to provide?
