Canadian Cole Powell Making Switch to NASCAR Whelen Mods
WMT - 8/15/11
Canadian Late Model driver Cole Powell has added a NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour car to his family's stable and plans to make his WMT debut in next month's event at Delaware Speedway in Ontario.  Powell has competed on the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour, the CRA Super Series and select Late Model shows in his home country this season and was a winner during Florida Speedweeks at New Smyrna in February.  The team plans to continue to race Late Model events while adding the Modified races to their schedule with a look to compete on the Whelen Modified Tour full-time in 2012.

thats good to see that a canadian will be racing with the whelen mods he will do good cause he is a smart driver like his dad
