Enduro B allows for Mini Stock setup, as it is. It just does not run run Friday nights. If there was interest (other than two of us), it may fly. I know it will take off, if the rules allow it. The provisions are already there, so field it as the car count grows. It will happen, give it time. I am building one for Enduro B rules, that fits Big O's rules. Only stipulation is my VTEC will be disabled when I run Oshweken... unsure if they will allow me to run a car equipped but disabled.

I agree, the rules will need to be soften for NON-V8 guys, being against even Enduro B guys. I'm sure Tech would field suggestions that way.

Its not a run what ya want 4cyl/mini stock rules as i thought aswell. First race out with new car they wanted  me to change sway bar links to equal length and run only 4 deg camb i was told those rules were for all cars with exception to tire, weight and engine rules

Well, that makes life easier. Just build them to Enduro rules, and when we get enough.... maybe then we can go to the track with a new class. Sounds easier to me....

I won a heat and was plenty competitive right out of the box with mine in the super stock, didnt win any features, but it was only in the car 3 races. McQueen, google racer classifieds international. This sites retarded, im going back to fb lol

Ok, you say you don't know shit, so how do you know that?
Also, why couldn't a $600 crate win?
We ran a 602 for 5 full seasons in ss, and it was just as strong the last race as it was the first race. All we changed was valve springs. So, if you can find one for that kind of money, and it has decent oil pressure, there's no reason it couldn't win.
How much you spend on an engine, or car doesn't determine how well you run. Time spent working on the cars will always get you a better return on your investment than spending cash!

As for the bone stocks/mini stocks, leave it alone. Opening up the rules will lead to people spending way too much money on their rides in an attempt to make it to the front of the pack. Always has and always will. It's the nature of the beast. If you want to work on setups and adjustments, and drive yourself insane with what to move and where to move it to, what amount of cross to run, what size tire to put where, and all the other stuff...get a truck and race it, that's what the class is for. If you want "cheap" racing and have fun, get a bone stock and race it, that's what that class is for.

Opening up the rules for a 4cyl class, can and will get just as expensive as the trucks are. It may take 2 or 3 seasons, but I promise the costs will be the same.

Used crates are hard to come by
I had one, and an enduro car that won some races a couple of years ago had one that we each paid $600 for off of the racers classifieds sites, his blew up, but he made his $$ back plus a bunch more, and I ran mine In the s.s until i got sponsored a new one, now its my spare....its a site based out of the niagra region, but it was worth the trip.

The problem is V8 Stock is easily 6-10K to be competitive. You're right, that isn't bad. A good running mini can be built for 3K, easily. It's a suggestion, and I hope they look at it.
my super stock is in that range, and not the top of it......v8's arent that much if you have some basic fab skills, theyre in mini range, with a used crate
