Cole Custer Wins The Pole For Chevrolet Silverado 250

California native Cole Custer won the pole for the Chevrolet Silverado 250, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race with a time of 1:19.175, driving the #00 Haas Automation Chevrolet. The JR Motorsports rookie driver will be joined on the front row by Austin Cindric in the #2 Ford. Daniel Hemric will start third.

In NASCAR Pinty’s Series qualifying, Alex Tagliani of Montreal set the pace for the Can-Am 200 with a fast lap of 1:22.770. Kevin Lacroix will start second and Roxton Pond, QC native Andrew Ranger, who was winner of the NASCAR Pinty’s Series race at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in May, will start third.

The Ultra 94 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Yokohama held their first race of a Saturday/Sunday doubleheader. Scott Hargrove was the winner in Platinum Cup, with Daniel Morad in second. Shaun McKaigue finished first in Gold Cup and Andrew Danyliw was victorious in Silver Cup.

In Canadian Touring Car Championship action, Bob Attrell took the checkered flag in Grand Touring while Scott Nicol was first in Super Touring and Michel Sallenbach was victorious in Touring.

Sunday's schedule begins with a race for the Ultra 94 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Yokohama and will be followed by the Can-Am 200 at 11:05 am. The Chevrolet Silverado gets the green flag at 2:30 pm.
