Title: Carpentier to race at The Glen
Post by: racenut on August 06, 2007, 07:26:00 PM
According to Jayski's, Patrick Carpentier is scheduled to race in the #10 Valvoline car for Evernham Motorsports. The number 10 is outside the top 35. Patrick has been impressive in the two stock car races I've seen him in, I guess he's caught Ray's eye as well. I hope he does well.

I thought that the Gillette partnership may have had someting to do with it as well. There is a Montreal connection here, even though Mr. Gillette is an American. And I agree with you hill3, I'm not confident that Riggs would have qualified anyway. He didn't make the race in Sonoma.
