Great crowd for the first night and great number of cars. After qualifying 10 drivers had to load up.
It was a non points special with the hoosier stocks, the sportsman and the 358 mods racing 60 lap features to open the tracks 60th anniversary.

The hoosier stocks split their feature in to two 30 lap sections.
Third generation driver Brent Begelo was the leader after the first 30 laps.
When the race resumed after the other 2 features he continued on leading till the end and took the checkers.
The sportsman race saw B.J. Willard with a straight a way lead over any challenger for most of the race until late when he got involved with a lapped car and brings out a caution opening the door for Brad Rouse to take the win.
The 358 mods were being led by track ower Pete Bicknell till Matt Willamson made the outside pass and Bicknells car climbed Willamson's car when they got together. Bicknell ended at the back and Williamson took the lead and held off all challengers to claim the win.

The begining of the points race starts next Saturday.
