Kudos to Sunset...for NOT ONLY thinking of the latemodels but ALSO including the 2 other classes as well AND spreading the payout all across the divisions so everyone no matter where they place fells an increase...THAT IS THINKING OUTSIDE OF THE BOX TO BENEFIT EVERYONE!!!!

Its funny that Barrie pays 12000 to late model champ, then Sunset pays 13000, but nobody announces a sponsor who is paying for it, its kinda like a tit for tat of who wants to lose the most money.

looks like sunset has the ability to bleed more money with more owners to throw to the loss pot.

I thought the sunset repaving was just the 1st phase of imrovements but no announcements of any further improvements this year so far.......

the one bonus of this pissing contest is there is more money to go around for the drivers.  that is great....i do find it cheesy that really tom walters is the only one who can possibly win the 50000, so in all likelihood nobody will win all this money in any division.  its like kicking a 70 yard field goal and from what ive heard about teching at sunset this year and the whole contraversy with that, seems like if anyone wants to max out on bonus they will have to spend as much $$ on their car to do it.

so everyone who wants one track or the other to go under remember without the competition none of this would be happening so lets hope there are 2 tracks in simcoe county for a long time

Walters couldn't win the 50 grand unless he was running in all three divisions which I haven't asked him but I'm betting he's not gonna ....also as a competitor of Toms I find that insulting that you have already just given him the money I like to think that all the effort and money we have put forth for this coming year that we should at least give him and others some competition for it.

I do beleive Kyle will be running late model at Kawartha and his brother will be running the superstock there as well, just speculation of course. Whoever this is saying that walters is a gimme for the sunset championship should have his head read. Sure he'll be there most likely but there certainly are a lot of capable drivers throughout ontario. I think the shootout money is spread across all the divisions at sunset and the thought that one driver could possibly win it all is totally fabricated. The money is meant to be spread all around the 3 divisions throughout the entire feild is what i beleive. Should be a heck of a race season for all the drivers.
