Lets face it like him or hate him, Walters is a racer and like many on here he shows up every week to race, the show at Sunset is being run by a bunch of army guys who have never raced in their lives how any driver could lose all of there points for going back onto the track in safe green flag conditions is beyond me,when he was shown the black flag he left the track,its just another nail in the coffin for Sunset Speedway.

How is it unbelievable because its Sunset? Your are not allowed to reenter the race under the green flag. End of story. Or maybe the track should hand him the championship! Would that work for you guys?

For sure!  I mean I've seen some instances over the years that may have warranted Walters getting the flag, but nothing I've seen, or heard about this instance leads me to believe that this is one of them.  Seriously, this is a big kick in the pants for Walters.  I would be losing it!  I hope he can manage to overcome the immense irritation and frustration that I know I'd have over this meat-head call, and go out there Saturday and get what's been his all year.  Heck if it was me, I'd be kicking a little on the way out at the end of the night too.  Sunset, you may have just sealed your fate.

I guess you have not been around Sunset as long as most of us,l would have to say that without a doubt this year has been the bottom of the barrel,l dont think they should hand Walters the championship and l'm sure a class act like Chris Morrow would not want it handed to himself either this way but like l said these army guys no nuthin about nuthin thats why they are in the army,its like never leaving home,a real racer would understand and obviously you aint one.

Not at all, I wanted to see a race for it.  Now there's no race to be had.  A 'behind the scenes" call has predicted the outcome.  As you said, he should have lost his points for that race only.  Then, we'd still have a points battle, wouldn't we?  We're getting closer, and closer to a 'scripted' race.  Just imagine, maybe in the next couple of years the drivers meeting will consist of the officials laying out the scenes for the night. "Okay, Driver 'A', on lap 9, you take the lead from Driver 'B', and Driver 'C', on lap 10 you stuff it into the corner way deep, and trunk Driver 'B'.  Driver 'B' then over corrects, and collects Drivers D, E, and F in the ensuing melee"

Yes but when you are black flaged, you get last place points, unless it is driver misconduct as far as I understand.

it is just a rule stated in the general rules longstreet i dont see the problem with it either as long as the cornerman lets you on in a safe manner so youre not impeding traffic...but i believe it is a rule in the general rules...

 Thats cool Scott you are lucky,Kristi is the class of the field the most underated driver at Sunset, but back to the debate Silverstone you must be on another planet they are calling it Misconduct thats why they are taking away all of his feature points he does not even get last place points because he disobayed an order its like an army court martial but speedway style lmfao.
