Thats cool Scott you are lucky,Kristi is the class of the field the most underated driver at Sunset, but back to the debate Silverstone you must be on another planet they are calling it Misconduct thats why they are taking away all of his feature points he does not even get last place points because he disobayed an order its like a court martial but speedway style lmfao.

ok now its my turn mr. alan evans i have never seen a post on here to be totally downright stupidity IMO first of its not rocket science to follow guidelines set in the....ill say it again " GENERAL RULES" which explains how to conduct yourself as a driver while being at the speedway...the military doesnt run the speedway they are staff following rules however depending on the rule i tend to disagree on certain areas but i dont make the rules and dont run the speedway but i have been going to sunset for a very long time my friend and have been impressed by Mr. Walters on each night i have seen him race but please stop making a fool of yourself i see nothing but verbal diarrhea spewing from that neurological vasectomy you seem to call your brain....yet add another to the list...if you dont know that means youre shooting blanks my friend...so please do us all a favour and stop blaming the military hey better yet let the US invade canada and you can fight them all of for us how about that or we'll just allow the taliban over here and send you to defend us...exactly have some respect youre distasteful completely out of reality and youre out of your mind my friend if you have an issue about a RULE WHICH APPLIES TO EVERYONE...even chris morrow if he had done the same thing...then take it up with the track owner who makes the RULES

JMO

Cheers

when you get black flagged you lose all points for that race, unless it is a mechanical black flag.

Walters only lost the points for that feature only..... This gave Chris the 10 point advantage.  Don't forget Chris won both features.
Going into the run with double features Walters had 1271 points and Morrow had 1212.
The first events run counting as Sept 13th's rain out Walters only obtained 41 points taking his total to 1312 and Morrow gained 104 taking his total to 1316.  So after the first feature Morrow had the lead going into the heats and the second feature.  During that race Walters got a total of 98 points added to his previous total equals 1410.
Morrow obtained 104 points again giving him a total of 1420.

Hence Morrow leads the points by 10.

Walters received the black flag with driver misconduct attached to it because he was told straight out by the pit official not to enter the track, then again by the official standing on the on/off ramp.  Walters then  proceeded to enter the track and in the rule book this warrants an immediate black flag.  When Walters entered the track he ignored the initial black flag thrown at him and it took him two laps to get back off the track.  Blatently disregarding track officials warranted the misconduct added to the black flag = no money no points for that event.

As a vetran driver of Sunset Speedway he knows that rule better than anyone........

Deb, thanks for clearing that up, I'm happy to learn that rebel77's  statement about Walters losing all points for the night is false.

Guys I know your all anxious for the points, and I understand but with Saturday being the last night I am making dang sure they are right.

I have been going over the top 10 in each division.  The points are very very close and I have found some things and corrected them.  So bare with me I hope to finish up tonight and have them to Al tomorrow for the web-site.

I don't want to post one number then have someone say how come if there is something I do find I want it found now and posted right.

Note:  This involves going thru every score sheet lap by lap for 40 cars from the beginning.  Because when these guys finish out the season I want everyone to be in their correct order.

Thanks
Deb

Deb   Dont get me wrong but had he not already left the track and came back on a couple times already and as i sit in the pits i did see him come into the pits and pull a peice of a fender off and head right back out not realizing the race had just stated. I really dont think he was paying much attention to anything or anybody  as he came back on the track but he definatelly came right off when they told him to. How can this track official from the pits make a driver misconduct call when walters probably never even saw him. I enjoy watching walters race and for this official to make such an assuming call is just rediculous.I hope walters is done racing at sunset as i know i'll never be back.

skidder i believe youre talking about the second feature where he ripped the fender off...and came back on as they took the green....he wasnt penalized for that...

During every caution the pit steward will let the teams in the pits know how many caution laps are left.

Like you say Mikey its just your opinion and l respect your verbal tirade, in answer to it l would take it up with the track owner but l would have more chance finding Osama Bin Ladin and or the man who hides behind the name Mike Smith, than Wes condescending to have a conversation with a lowly crew member about anything.

hiding behing a name?...my name is Micheal Edward Smith...aka Mike Smith...i know that may be hard for a man of your stature to comprehend....and i wouldnt speak to Wes either but i wouldnt complain about things i do not have the facts on...so pull out the reading glasses and look at the general rules...thanks

Here is a guy trying to put a show on for the fans that pay a good buck to come and watch each and every week, even coming back on the track to race with what amounted to half a race car in one of the features and this is the type of pat on the back he gets from the sunset officials for making their show better.I will definately be whereever this guy decides to run next year,i just hope its not sunset.
