Hey Pinecrest,

I heard Ashley Taws finished 2nd last night at Sauble behind Mike Hryniuk. I also heard that she was so fast that with another couple of laps she would've had the win.........

I have not spoken to anyone that was at the OSS race yet and that may have allot to do with the fact that there were so few people in attendance . I did hear that they only had something like 9 cars start the race and with that few cars anything can happen , I also don't know how many finished that did not have problems . I can think of at least a dozen good Thunder car drivers that could win in that rocket she is driving right out of the gate with a car count that low . Winning a normal Saturday night show in LLM or Thunder cars at most places is a far bigger achievement then running up front or even winning in the OSS

Pinecrest,

There were 10 cars that took the green each race. The stands were full and they loved the show the guys and girl put on. Ashley ran down Steve Robblee and the #60 - i don't care how many cars are in the race if you can hang with Robblee needless to say run him down in any car your doing a hell of a job.

Don't pick on Pinecrest.... so he made a bad call with regards to Ashley.
If she ran as good as it sounds he will be the first guy to tell you so.
Its not like the guy has a hate on for everyone, he just speaks his mind.
Hell I know me and Robin Miller have had our disputes over the years, on and off the air, but that doesnt make him an ass in my books, just a guy who see's things his way and tell's it his way.
Pinecrest didnt purposally bash Ash- he just gave his 2 cents worth comparing her to several drivers that could have used the same oppertunity... and there is nothing wrong with that.
I am sure if you ask him, as he has been around racing long enough to know better, that if Ashley ran down Roblee, she deserves the right to finish second, and it is well deserved.

The rumor is that Pinecrest bought a pink tee shirt with Barbie on it...
What's that tell you ??
If it wasnt for Pinecrest talking about her on here she would have no exposure at all, so give the guy some credit.
There is no such thing as bad publicity.
When people dont talk about you, your in trouble.

Pinecrest is okay in my books, and if you really read what he is writing, he is only stating the truth as he see's it and sometimes that takes balls when you know everyone is going to disagree with your view points.

Go on Pine... tell them what you really think !!

He is ok in my books and I like joking with him and it would be boring if he didn't make his comments good or bad.

Agreed. Anyone who has been around racing as long as he has deserves his voice to be heard on a website like this. I've disagreed with him in the past as well, but at least he makes some valid points unlike that troll that keeps popping up here once in a while.
