CENTRE FOR SPEED HOSTS ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET
March 22, 2011 - CFS would like to congratulate all our 2010 competitors,
teams and owners for an outstanding season.
2010 Competitors Awards were presented as follows;
CFS Points Fund and Points Championship Trophies
Via Rail Dedicated Driver Award - $2025
This trip for two to Montreal or Toronto from either Halifax or Moncton
aboard Via Eastern Class Service including sleeping accommodations goes to
the lucky winner of the Banquet draw from all the attending points
competitors. Must run the sponsor decal and remain in the points to be
eligible to win.
2010 Via Rail Dedicated Driver - Scott Bourque
CFS Class Champion Jackets - $1250
Each Division points Leader for CFS Events will be awarded a high quality,
unique, CFS Championship Jacket ($250 Value). Must run the speedway decal.
Four Fun Champ - Scott Bourque
Mini Stock Champ - Martin Landry
Shediac Sportsman Champ - Don Marcoux
Super Sportsman Champ - Luc "High Plains Drifter" Bourgeois
Buyer Flyer Driver and Crew of the Year Award = $150
To recognize the dedication and hard work of everyone involved in getting
(and keeping) the race car on the track and to the Finish line each week CFS
is announcing the DRIVER AND CREW OF THE YEAR AWARD. This award is presented
to the Pit Crew and Driver in any class who "went above and beyond" to keep
the car on the track regardless of circumstance. Must run the sponsor
decal.
2010 Buyer Flyer Driver and Crew of the Year - Doug MacEwen
Battery Direct Rookie of the Year Award = $200
Awarded to the rookie in the sportsman division who has the most points on
the season. Cars competing for this award are required to run the Sponsors
Decal. The award is split evenly among the top rookies in each class.
2010 Rookies of the Year (Overall) - Matt Rodgers
