FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CONTACT TIM WILE AT 388-2415 FOR MORE INFORMATION

Shediac, July 1 / 11 - This weekend the CENTRE for Speed in Shediac has got a full slate of racing action and other fun lined up for fans with the second installment of the Maritime Super Series for Sportsman at what is Atlantic Canada's newest racing oval. "We've seen more side by side racing lap after lap in the three events this season so far than we've had in most regular seasons in the past and photo finishes each week" said co-owner and promoter, Tim Wile.  "This weekend promises more of the same racing we've seen so far  - tough, fast, and action packed thanks to the new oval." he continued.  "I love it" exclaimed several of the drivers such as Bouctouches, Denis LeBlanc, Riverviews Craig Ward and Saint John's Brad Daley when asked at the speedways successful on track autograph session last weekend.  Other drivers commented positively, en mass with a few still not sure if they prefer the new or the old, yet.  However the fans have been the big winners so far with great side by side racing in all divisions from the smallest to the biggest and several photo and near finishes each weekend. "Great racing and great fun at affordable familiy prices are what weekly grass roots racing is all about" continued Wile. "we're starting to see it reflect in the grandstands and on the track (despite the poor weather) we've had and we're encouraged, to say the least".
