Launch March 2007? That is somewhat ridiculous! It would be nice to have the schedule up when they get one!

They are liars Robbie Weiss told me that name was to long they wouldn't be using it. I guess when you are that big you can lie to the little people. That was one of the names I had to give to them. I still have see what they promised me when giving up the domain names I had.

It is a bunch of crap one bs page on a website makes you think eveything is going well???

That took someone 15 mins to make that page.

Hey but I own NCTS.CA which is much better then all those names.  All I can say is I did what they asked and all I have been told was a bunch of lies.

Lets start promoting NCTS.CA

To be honest with you, the name NCTS Live (Nasty Car Talk Site) to me doesn't really seem to encourage a sense of online community…  or describe in any way the current community.  Nor does the name really seem to have anything to do with what we talk about on here (Canadian Racing).  Not to mention the troubles that name is likely to cause in the future.

Hey, if youtube.com (an incredibly popular video hosting site) can be sued by utube.com (some tube manufacturer in the states), NCTS is fair game.

Might be interested to notice the old domain for this site (http://www.cascaronline.com) also has a placeholder on it now.

Anyways, I’m not going to tell you how to run the site, but I’ll give an opinion here:

In my opinion the other domains should be unloaded, and efforts focused here at www.canadianracingonline.com, which is arguably the highest traffic motor sports site in Canada along with the inside track breaking news blog, followed by the track and driver sites themselves :D.  The other domains are only going to cost you money in the long run.  Spreading your efforts across two sites when one is already one of the most successful in Canada is probably not an effective use of resources. :?

I’d personally much rather see energies focused here on canadianracingonline…  Allow the site to actually generate content - let the posts stay up forever instead of deleting after 2 months.  How fun would it be to go back and read Shadows Delaware Speedway reports from this year during the season next year?  Or the years following?  It would become a traffic generator for the site if people want to come on and see what was going on last year in the rumour mill.  This could lead to increased membership, increased reliable traffic, and increased value if a sponsorship opportunity came up. :)

Just some thoughts...

Lets not and say we did.

I'll go along with everything cascarjr52 said. (nice to see you back, by the way) Especially the part about leaving posts up instead of auto-deleting them. Every other message board on the planet seems to work that way, why not this one?

Only thing I'd add is that this IS canadianracingonline. In my opinion, get rid of the whole Nasty Car bit. Its ridiculous, and painfully obvious that its a bitter play on someone's acronym. In every other aspect, this site is most excellent and professional in its presentation. Calling it "Nasty Car Talk Site" reduces it to amateur night in one fell swoop.

My advice is to get over the NASCAR thing. Just get over it. Focus elsewhere.

There's enough racing going on in Canada that we don't even have to address NASCAR/CASCAR at all here if we don't want to. CASCAR is not the begin all and end all of Canadian racing. It never has been and it never will be.

All NASCAR took from you was your ability to use its trademarks. The SITE is still here, man. As good as ever and getting better.

People have to understand that others use the NASCAR/CASCAR trademarks in there name and they didn't have to give up their domain names. It was a personal attack.

Also you have to understand I was told by Robbie Weiss on the phone when they wanted the domain names that they didn't want to use nascarcanadiantiresseries.com as it was to long of a domain name they just couldn't have anyone else using their trademarks. Why do they have to lie I was upfront with them and did what they wanted and I still haven't gotten my Tickets or the money for the transfers of the domain names. This is not right.

I could have gave them a hard time. I was given 60 days after signing and faxing a letter their lawyers sent me and I lived up to my part but it is OK for them not to live up to their part of the deal??? Keep listening to drivers that got sponsors that everything is OK and you will see where it leads you. I trust the un-sponsored drivers as they don't need to feed us BS.

the nascarcanadiantireseries.com site was updated Dates:         Created 12-sep-2006   Updated 14-dec-2006  Expires 12-sep-2008 which meens they want you to think the ball is rolling but the site says it will be launched in March 2007. Seems funny that the change is made to have a site up when people are complaining that there is no news in three months. here is the other site update info

Renewal-Date:   2009/01/02
Date-Approved:  2005/01/02
Date-Modified:  2006/12/14

ISA did a better job at feeding us a bunch of feathers. Also look at the date of DEAN MCNULTY, SUN MEDIA article also done on Dec 14th 2006. See what they are doing the website is to say look we did something. 15mins of work is suppose to make a big difference to teams trying to get sponsors. Look they have a website up give me 500,000 to be my sponsor???? I believe Susan & Kerry Micks more then I believe Robbie Weiss ( He told me one thing on the phone and did another) and for Don Thompson Jr (Have nothing against him) but having a sponsor and saying the information is ok from NASCAR. Would he be saying this if he had no sponsor and was trying to get one?

Everyone know here that I welcome these people to come on the board here and give use their point of the story. I would love to hear from Robbie & Don Thompson Jr of what he has gotten that has given him enough information that he could get a sponsor for the new series and Robbie to come he and deny what I said what he told me on the phone.

I'm not out here to make trouble or bash the series but give you my opinions on what I know and what I was told.

Also NASTY CAR TALK SITE CANADA = ncts.ca has nothing to do with being bad it is to show we are not breaking any trademarks and what the initials mean so no one gets confused with other things. NCTS.com =  Northern Colorado Title Services  which is a company in Colorado.

That is the best that they can do?What a f@%&in joke!I'm sure any eight year old can do a better job at a website, not to mention a website teaser! If that represents the future of stock car racing in Canada,I'm sure you can count out a lot of racers and their prospective sponsors...
