Anyone interested go to www.frankkimmel.com for info and rules. Looks pretty freakin cool! It's for street stocks and the rules are pretty close.

Good luck with them boys. Seen a mid pack car from the first race for sale on Racing Junk for 17k US and was loosing money! Would be a hell of an experience racing Thunder Vallys 1/2 mile.

When they did the test down there they had those Thunder Cars doing 150 MPH with a 4 BBL, 147 MPH with a 4412, both without the duckbill.

They're still pulling 130 MPH with a 4412 and a duckbill (and 2.73's hahaha).

It would be fun...  Crazy fun no doubt. Some guy brought 10 cars to the event himself.

It might be an idea to rent one off that guy for the race.

i think a canadian going down there and kicking ass would be cool, but racing in the states is a religion not a hobby and we are so far behind in our rules and such that i think we would be outclassed. but it sure would be nice!

Some people are building a car just for this event. I don't have enough cash for my Thunder Car activities, let alone building a car just to tow down there.

I keep buying my 6/49 anyways...
