Ryan Semple Picks Up Heat Victory, Top-Five in Feature at Sunset Speedway
Ryan Semple kept the solid results rolling at Sunset Speedway this past weekend, picking up another top-five feature finish.
He would kick off the night with a fifth-place finish in his first heat, followed by a victory in the second qualifier.
Starting mid-pack for the 30-lap feature, he began to make his way forward from the drop of the green flag, running side-by-side with Jordan Howse for 10th as of Lap 8. He’d continue to run just inside of the top-10, moving up to eighth by the first and only caution of the event with 11 laps to go. He would get a good restart, breaking into the top-five with eight laps to go. He’d try to keep the momentum rolling, but was unable to move up any further as he crossed the finish line with a fifth-place finish.
Following his fourth straight top-five finish to start the year, he will look to carry the momentum forward into this weekend with the fifth event of the season at Sunset Speedway on June 17.
