HEREWhat a great Super Stock race tonight. 35 lap feature that started with 76-Reid and 60-Ott (in the "It Aint Easy Being - um - Yellow" Camaro) taking the lead in the early going. Soon Fothergill was up front fighting for a spot and was in the lead by about lap 10 or so. The battle was a little further back between Smith, Lake, Lawrence and a solid running number 17-McNichol. Towards the end Fothergill slowed up a bit, looked like a tire going down, and the whole field descended on first place. First Reid got back past the 33, then Smith. Then Smith and Reid got together as Smith attempted the pass into first diving into 1, Reid cut down and they both ended up out. Then McNichol spun in 3 leaving the final battle between Lawrence and Lake. Lawrence took the race. Unbelievable show.
Truck Feature won by Rijnen and was also a pretty hot contest, although I didn't see most of it. Gemmell ended up with some damage partway through, as did Bloemendal.
Mods won by Newman. 2nd place to Richmond, who held off a determined 38-McCullough for most of the race.
