Pretty clean night of racing all in all with only 2 cautions in the Thunder 50 lapper and only one single caution in the LLM 75 lapper, although that race did get a bit strung out with not a great deal of meaningful passing..

Charlie :: Davenport was placed at the back of the lead lap cars after cutting the tire.. I think he restarted 14 or so with only 4 lappers in behind him in the 19 car field..

Sucked to see #20 Mike Hearty from Laird Speedway in the Soo cook his motor just two laps into the Thunder feature. He was planning on running Barrie tonight and Pete tomorrow and making it a weekend trip but I imagine those plans are shot now.

Car count was a little lower than I expected with 19 LLM and Thunders but it sure was the creme de la creme in attendance..

The LLM top 10 as I believe it unfolded was : Andy Kamrath (Sauble), Tim Ellis (Sauble), Roy Wilkie (Sauble), Tom Gibbons (Sauble), Brandon Watson (Sunset), Dwayne Baker (Sunset), Tom Walters (Sunset), Al Inglis (Barrie), Taylor Holdaway (Sunset), and Keith Maiato (Barrie)..

Top 5 in Thunders were : Scott McTeer (Sauble), Kyle Donaldson (Sunset), Matt Mulholland (Sauble), Todd Davenport (Sauble), and Dave Doucette (Sunset)..

As you can see good night for the home cars.. Sauble drivers took top 4 positions in LLM and likely would have all the top 5 covered but #76 Tyler Williams broke.. 3 of 5 Sauble cars in top 5 in Thunders as well

Well as I figured, most of the Simcoe County cast got a rude awakening Friday, as specially in the late models!

Can anyone tell me why the Biff got to restart in the middle of the pack after having to change a flat tire under caution?  I was not the only one wondering this in the stands, and they never mentioned it?

Nice race with Joe and Dave in the heat, with Joe putting a rash all over the 44 lol.

Question for Joe, I have the same problem Dave had all night, locking up the fronts and pushing up going into the turns at that track, whats the key on that?  Its a harder track then it looks for sure.

69 won by a nose,   the 53 got to the outside of him so he started over driving and pushing up the track, so the 53 couldnt get around him on the outside.

good for Scott Mcteer, finally beating the 53's streak. Not saying I don't like the 53. I never even met him and I am sure he's a great guy But we have been around the Mcteer gang a few times and they are great people. Congrats to him.
