street stock maybe done for 2012
« on: December 03, 2011, 05:50:51 PM »
Sauble speedway is going to cut street stock for 2012 if they don't have 10 cars that are not registered after the meeting (dec. 10) the class will not run in 2012. hats off to you jay thom good way to get more cars. maybe that should go for all class's .there is more street stock then 4cyl and thunders so good idea why don't we cut the class! I say to you Jay Thom you should stick to what you know, sell the race track find someone who wants to do it as more then a hobby!!

Are you sure about the streetstocks being cut? If I was Jason I would be more worried about some other classes before them.

Unable to attend meeting because of work obligations, so where am I running my SS next year, is there still a class @ Sauble or am I going to Varney? If there still is a class was there any rule changes @ meeting for any of you that were able to attend.

Talked to Jason @ Expo yesterday, Crates are in for SS with 100 lb penalty, I can't see myself spending between $3500- $4000 on a motor to run for a $100 a night. Pretty certain they're trying to close gap between Thunder and Street stock to eliminate the class.

That must be what they plan on,cause who in their right mind would spend that kind of money to put in a SS........
