22 sk-doo

As anyone could have guessed,I am the technical director for the O.S.S. I was also fortunate enough to race in a few races.I would like to get some feedback on how my fellow racers,as well as anyone else feels about this.I would like to continue in this capacity, and I would also like to drive as well, should anyone need,or want ,a capable shoe( besides I just got two new goggles). If I am to return as tech master next season I can promise that I will be much better prepared, and have alot more in the way of equipment. My goal this year was to show that we can have alot of fun,and also keep the racing fair.Im sure we still had some of the old ,this guys doing this and that guys doing that, but after being involved with racing for twenty nine years(HOLY CRAP) I've learned that the guys that are fast work hard and have decent equipment, and that most of the rule stretching(CHEATING) goes on at the rear of the field. The sooner these guys figure out that a good working chassis is worth 50 hp the better they will run.As an example the car I drove at Cayuga is down forty hoarse to a good sportsman motor but the car handled really well.By the way,if anyone is looking to buy a race car that one is for sale and believe me it's an awsome car with the best of everything. So if anyone has any sensible comments,by that I mean I'm not up to slamming officials or racers, then you may contact me at rapidroy_22@yahoo.com

Does the car have a Cigerette lighter ??
Does the car have a cup holder ??
Does the car have a cooler on board ??

And yes, you did a great job at Cayuga....

Hey Sparta, the car I mentioned belongs to Mike Alguire,Huntington Motorsports.I don't know the particulars but if you are interested I could put you in touch with them. We are in London Ontario. As far as the two seperate engine combinations the sportsman motor makes a bit more power but you could not see the differance on the track   22 sk-doo

Hey sparta, the car I drove at Cayuga was a series car and motor.I think the big differance is in the heads .The series motors use the angle plug heads(462's Ithink),and the sportsman motor uses the vortec heads. The vortec heads flow much better, and the intake(with a carb spacer) seems to work really well with the 2bbl carb.Al Lebert"s car(36) uses a series motor,as well as several others. But like I said before a good handling car is worth 40 hp all day long.22-skdoo out
