He might be the marketing guy, but shouldn't that stuff be ready to go before he goes? Also, how does that reasoning explain the lack of news the prior week before that?

Sorry i miss counted by 4 car. And hey if you say your going to give a press release or hold a news confrence you do it or give proper notice that you arnt, dont see NCATS miss leading dates, they do it when they want, they never promised any releases at a certain time and they dont have to mean while oss has given there word and not good for a growing series to have fans and people who are following and supporting the series upset over misguided info.

All I'm saying is that it's not a good sign to not deliver on something that you say you're going to, especially when it's in writing. It might be insignificant in the bigger picture, but from how things have worked in the past, it's better to nip it in the bud. I think the only one getting "seriously pissed" is yourself...

they also dont promise to have drivers that have zero intention racing with their series

the oss saying that dj kennington and jr fitzpatrick will be racing is like the ncats promising jimmy johnson and jeff gordon....

To everybody out there that is complaining about the OSS give your heads a shake .Remember this is a growing series which is just the second year of operation. This group has new directors ( Etc) give them a break they are doing there best to make this group move on.Last message to come out was saying they had approx 35 cars registered which is excellant .I donot know these people that are upset or are just finding something to complain about. As for being late for a press release sit back and relax it will come.Remember you still have approx 4 to 5 months to racing season and if they said it will be out in December so what if it is a couple days late no big deal.So everybody out there
that likes to complain about this subject as I said relax and enjoy this happy time of year(Remember Christmas only comes one time a year) To everybody MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR

First Mobil 1 do you want to comment on your statement reguarding (Don't cash cheques you can't cash) and as for Spencer you were wondering about press releases earlier on this section there was a comment saying OSS was to put out a release out December 14th and all I was saying what was the big deal if it was a couple days late

Boy U Guys & Girls are cranky before the holidays. Relax the holidays are coming and racing is only 2 months 1/2 away. That is for NASCAR of course.

Pull out your old race videos or tune into speed if you still need a racing fix to hold ya over till February.

Happy Holidays Everyone.

Evan

What I'm trying to say is if you're say you're going to do something, then do it. Big or small, I've lost track of the number of times series, tracks and teams have said they're going to do something and have failed to deliver. Anybody can get off track with things like that, but it says a lot to stick with it. It lets you trust people (especially new people) with the big things if they can crank the small things out of the park.

Have there been any rule changes to the cars this year, anything to make them quicker than your average LLM?
I would have to say that lap times for OSS and LLM are quite close. When they raced at Peterborough speedway my average lap time would have put me about 3rd in the line up.I also had the opportunity to race against an OSS car in the APC300 at Deleware, we both ended up down a lap and spent the rest of the race racing for the lucky dog, swaping postion back and forth(that's the 2nd place OSS car vs the 2nd place Peterborough LLM)the OSS cars have more horsepower, the LLMs corner better. As far as not allowing a LLM in a OSS race, LLMs don't meet the OSS rules simple as that.If they did I would be racing with them.
