Dave Didero recovering
Marketing Director for the OSS Dave Didero is recovering from a life-threatening bout of pneumonia that had him hospitalized for 14 days of which 10 were spent in ICU at McMaster University Medical Centre. Dave returned home on Tuesday and was able to walk through the front door, however he's still on oxygen as his lungs clear out.
"I'm so glad that everything worked out" stated Dave Connelly; Series Director. "I've been speaking to Lisa on and off over the last 2 weeks and it was touch and go there for a bit. It's going to take Dave a few months to get healthy but i know being at the track will motivate him" chuckled Dave.
Brennan Didero will make his debut this Saturday in the teams #24 car running for the Rookie of the Year Award.
"Even though Doctors said being at the Race Track was not the best place for me to be right now...After 30 years of breathing Methanol, Nitros, and Race Fuel is probably the best thing for my lungs right now ! Furthermore it would take alot to keep me from watching my sons debut, and the OSS Season Opener." said Dave Didero.
