I know that my Dad wanted to switch to Sunset this past Season, but i convinced him not too. And after we ruined 2 good tires there bkuz of the track, and what happened with Zinkie at the last invitational we will not be running there again. Sunset is an awesome track, it just needs to get repaved!!!!!!!

Yes the rumours are true..... The Architect has almost finished the drawings and the permits have been applied for to turn the old Barrie Horse Tractk into North Americas first indoor 1/2 mile paved oval dedicated strictly to stock car racing. It has been an engineering nightmare to design a roof structure of this magnatude but with the use of skyhooks it looks like construction should begin shortly. The Blue Jay Catering Center as it will be called will put an end to rain delays and cancelled dates which have plaged this racing season. We all look forward to the 2026 racing season when this magnificent project will be complete....

I heard they will be flooding the track in the winter and running an Ice Capades Invitational series. All the local studs will be encouraged to attend. Driving disputes will be settled with skates and no gloves. Fans thinking they've gone to a hockey game will not be disappointed.

Doucette had a great season at Barrie this year he was a top contending car almost every week why would he want to leave?
