Wally Wilson Scores Season-Best Modified Finish at Sauble Speedway
SAUBLE BEACH, Ontario — For the second straight year in a row, home turf has worked out well for Wally Wilson in producing a season-best performance.

Wilson started off the evening by placing sixth in both of his qualifying heats.

Come feature time, he would battle hard from the drop of the initial green flag, surviving through the single incident that slowed the 40-lap event, en route to crossing the finish line with an 11th-place finish. For Wilson, it marks his season-best in a year that has been plagued by bad luck since the beginning in May at Sunset Speedway.

Wilson will not get any time to relax, though, as he will be at Sunset Speedway on Saturday, August 18 for his next race behind the wheel of the No. 69 Outlaw Midget. It is a fan appreciation night so be sure to come down during the on-track autograph session to say hello to Wilson.

He will then head to Flamboro Speedway on Saturday, August 25 behind the wheel of his OSCAAR Modified once again.
