Howdy folks.. Pretty decent night of racing as the Oscaar Supers and Mods hit town although maybe a few more cars lead in each class would of made the show that much better.. In the Mods, outside pole sitter #36 Gary Elliott grabbed the lead early and fended off the challenge of #47 Brian McLean over a couple mid race restarts, when in the in late going after a late race caution for a pile up in turn 4, Elliott found two time series champion #8 Gary McLean to his outside for a restart. The 8 would find the point  from the outside line and take the checkered after a valiant effort from Elliott to fend him off came up short.. Barrie Late Model front runner #91 Andre Pepin took a turn behind the George Woods owner #34 Modified and came home with a very respectable 5th place showing..

OSCAAR Mods -- 1st) Gary McLean, 2nd Gary Elliott, 3rd 91 Max Beyore, 4th 26 Terry Baker, 5th 34 Andre Pepin, 6th 79 John Harper, 7th 2 Matt Barton, 8th 47 Brian McLean, 9th 7 Brent McLean. 10th 61 Dustin Jackson, 11th 13 Bobby Tolton, 12th 14 Davey Terry, 13th 88r Tommy Robb, 14th 99 Drew Stieler, 15th 77 Brian Strawn (DNS)

Heat wins went to Beyore with a pair, Gary McLean, Gary Elliott, 26, and Tommy Robb..

The Super Late Model race featured a frantic late race battle with #17 Kevin Cornelius and #81 Andrew Gresel over the last 10-12 laps of the race.. The two went door to door for a good 7 or 8 laps with only slight contact between the pair in a pretty gritty display of tough and clean short track racing.. Gresel would slightly wash up the track in turn two with 4 to go allowing Cornelius the opening he needed to take the win by maybe 2-3 car lengths at the checkered.. In the late going there was also a pretty decent dice for third between series rookies #b10 Kelly Balson, and former Barrie Thunder Car track champ #44 Dave "The Deuce" Doucette, as Balson would manage to slip past on the outside line in the dying stages to take the spot..

OSCAAR Super Lates -- 1st 17 Kevin Cornelius, 2nd 81 Andrew Gresel, 3rd b10 Kelly Balson, 4th 44 Dave Doucette, 5th 54 Mike Beyore, 6th 10 Jesse Kennedy, 7th 45 Rob Poole, 8th 82 Corey Jones, 9th 04 Rudy Oppersma, 10th 42 Tyler Hawn, 11th 47n Brent McLean, 12th 22 Glenn Watson, 13th 24 Scott Field (DNS)..

Heat wins went to Cornelius with a pair, Poole, and Jones..

Once again keep in mind these are UNOFFICIAL RESULTS just reporting things to the best of my knowledge.. Have a great rest of the weekend everyone and enjoy the Michigan race... Signing out..... FROM THE GONDOLA!!! ;)
