Anderson Bowen Racing announces that Anderson Bowen, the fourteen year old Suwanee, Georgia driver will compete with the highly competitive JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour. The 2012 JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour will open for Anderson on April 21 at Plymouth Speedway in Northern Indiana. The series consists of 14 races across Indiana, Ohio and Michigan. Anderson is excited to visit legendary venues such as Anderson Speedway and Winchester Speedway in Indiana and the famed Berlin Raceway in Michigan.
Anderson has rapidly developed his talent and has impressed many as he has been able to win in different types of race cars. With his beginnings in quarter midgets and two National Championships, to wins at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Anderson continues to win races. By 2010, Anderson had progressed to the Pro-Challenge Series and dominated the competition winning 9 of the 12 races and winning the Pro-challenge Championship.
Anderson is an extremely self-driven and an intense competitor. Now under the direction of former NASCAR driver Joey Clanton the team is excited about 2012 late model schedule.
The A.B.R. team has used this past winter to prepare cars for this upcoming challenge as the young driver chases the Howie Lettow Rookie of the Year Award and the JEGS/CRA series championship. "Continuing to learn and progress as a driver by getting laps in and finishing races is the goal,” shared Clanton. "If we have consistent finishes that will lead to the Top-10s and the Top-Fives and if you are running in the Top-Five, wins will come at this level”.
Bowen will have sponsorship from Home South Communities, One Harvest Food Ministries, Copper Creek Hardware and MPT Attorneys at Law on his #29 this season.
