NSCR-Medic since i don't follow the series and unlike most series their rules are not readily available i will take your word for it . As i said the vast majority of series do account for the driver even the CTS Nation wide and Cup but i am not surprised the NCTS is behind on this aspect of the sport as well .

As far as Danica goes some of us don't like a women with a stick figure

OK Pinecrest, take the stick out of your eye so you can read this:

An NCaTS car weighs 3000 lbs with a full tank of gas and no driver/helmet/hans.

There is no formula/provision to add in the drivers weight. So you if you are say, Mark Dilley/Dave Whitlock etc., John Gaunt's car will weigh a little less with him in it.

As for Danica....YUM!!

.......As far as supporting the NCTS i would rather push a sharp stick in my eye .

Thats why he thinks Danika looks like a 12 year old boy. He can't see! lol

Yup, he's been watching reruns of the NCTS series all winter.   ;D :D

I would be more inclined to believe that they add 200 lbs for the driver like they do in the Featherlite Modifieds rather then not count the driver at all as you describe . In the scenario you explain several of the cars would end up weighing well over 3600 lbs as i said and that is not a race car to me its more like a monster truck .

i went through pre race inspection 12 times last year and never once saw my driver (or any) get into there car as they rolled across the scales

believe what you may, but by a pit pass for the cayuga race in may and come see for yousefelf and support the series

I agree with every word Pinecrest said, up until just below the picture. Does anyone here race in a division that weighs the cars without the driver? I'm willing to bet probably not. It's not an anti-Danica rule, its a this-makes-more-sense rule. She's not being penalized for being petite. Before, every other driver was being penalized for being average sized.

The most popular touring series in canada, the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, weighs  there cars without the drivers in them ... minus hans and helmet weight too

I dont believe that is true . I would find it hard to believe that these already bloated 3400 lbs car then have to add a driver possibly putting them over 3600 lbs which would be more then my truck .

a C cup?........omg.....lolo....i will be watching Spencer on Speed differently now. I'm sure all that red material Danica is wearing wouldnt fit around his waist. No wonder he hated Gordon.
