Not an expert, just tried it, refused to listen to conventional thinking, broke all the parts trying

Because I only travel to see real race cars...

I don't go to the races to see cars. I go to see what drivers can do with them.

Because race cars, from a winged Supermodified right down to the clunkiest of Enduro cars, are really just heaps of metal and rubber that just sit there and do nothing...until a driver hops into it and makes the magic happen.

So enjoy your "real" race cars if thats what floats your boat. I'll be enjoying watching real drivers...just like I do every week at Delaware.

;)
And you can enjoy them...They're kinda slow and they don't make alot of noise...This allows for great conversation with your buddies.Hey,the late model race last year was great entertainment and a great warm up for the Supers.

Like I said,I'm going to see the purpose built race cars next week...Two nights...My only trip to Delaware for this year.Maybe if the AVSS can gets act together, they're might be a second excursion.Hey,you're track is getting my money and I really like the facility...Just not big on the "Grocery Getters"...

Night 1 in the books and Jason Sides takes the $10,000 feature win. Kraig Kinser set fast time with a new track record for the 3/8 mile clay oval at 12.047 sec for a 112.061 MPH. :o average speed. More fun tonight, if the weather gods play along. ;D

That pole time was shockingly fast...I wonder if they can get it in tonight if they can get into the 11's?

I was walking aroung the pits after and I ran into Mark Sammut checking out Sides car...

Had an interesting conversation with Lucas Wolfe about his ill fated Indy Lights rade and the direction of Indy car racing, the costs related to racing..etc....

Got rained on tonight (SAT) but the forcast for tomorrow looks good. If they can get the the track to retain a little more of this moisture the 11 second lap will happen Sunday night. 11.95 - 11.85 Last night the times fell off as the track dried in qualifying. Sorry I know this is Dellys forum but you just have to see someone flat foot a 900 HP 410 sprint car all the way around the "Big O". In qualifying the Outlaw fast guys just do not lift.  ;D ;D ;D

It was hard to focus on any thing in particular, plus trying to protect the camera from the dust onslaught and enjoying it at the same time lol
