What night would it run?  What classes would run there?  What about Barrie and Sunset? Lots of things to consider before something like that would be done...

I'm all for more dirt tracks in Ontario though. ;D

I have said it before in this forum, but it's been awhile so here it is again: Mr Good, new owner of Sunset Speedway; get rid of the asphalt and put down some clay!! "They" all say the track needs resurfacing so why not go all the way??!! I truly believe it would work from a market viewpoint. It is a two hour drive from the Barrie area to any dirt track in any direction. A decent track in this area north of T.O. would complete a link in a great dirt circut and I think would have zero trouble attracting an audience. Car counts wouldn't likely be a problem either. I suppose there could be the risk of affecting counts elsewhere, but dirt is clearly on an upward growth path so it may well take care of itself. All that and a dirt/pavement rivalry just makes more sense than what we've had all these years.   ;)

Screw that. Go head-to-head with everybody and force the tracks up there to stop screwing around and either improve or die, rather than preserve the funky status-quo which exists now.

To the fans of dirt track racing in the Toronto  area hope they do put one up there as it would draw fans.Maybe Sunset should look as this is the fastest growing racing group going. With the new owner there maybe he should take a good look at this.A gamble yes but I think it would fly up there.
