does the championship at Kawartha get Morrow an invite to New Hampshire. I see Jackson has one. Justin Holtom from Ottawa as well, he won the CCS championship

Well, Morrow didn't go down for the test so I don't know if that therefore then doesn't make him eligiable, but also, I don't know if it's something that he wants to do. Interesting question thou.

if he is racing with a built motor what is he doing with his 1.5  stock rockers because that is the sunset rule that you have to run . also isn't he allowed a double disc clutch at kawartha ? another thing not in the sunset rules.

RacerRob,

Not sure where you're heading with the question about rocker arms or clutch.

Midnight oil, work and some money fix all the issues.

And even if you are allowed a specific clutch, doesn't mean you change it for the other track. There are some very good quality and light weight 10.5" clutch assemblies out there.

Rocker Arm ratio is an easy fix - again if you really need (or want) to change you can, but doesn't mean he has. The ratio obviously changes the cam profile's behavior. But if it's a decent built motor (Exhibit A: Morrow wins KD Championship) - I doubt he would change rockers...

I agree with everyone else - the weight break and 4 BBL carb is what allows Morrow to compete against the LM's of KD and one hell of a setup. Every time I've seen Morrow run @ KD or Sunset he has the ability to run any groove he so desires - that's what wins races.

Morrow is not an ACT legal car, and because it is an ACT sanctioned race at new hampshire,  they took the top 2 from points that had ACT legal cars, hence why jackson got the invite, as well as mchattie, instead of morrow

The way the rules are set up there are 3 rules "options" for lm and you can't mix and match rules.  Option 3 is for llm cars and just because option 1 cars can run multi disc clutches or quickchanges you can't run that stuff with option 3 cars. Option 3 with a built motor or crate the clutch and rocker arm rules are just as they are at sunset, big clutch, 1.5 rockers.  They are that way to encourage llm guys to run with what they already have. They are llm cars with a 4 barrel and a weight break if you want to run a multi disk or a rack and pinion or any of the other stuff not legal in llm the car is now in option 1 or 2 which looses the weight break and 4 barrel carb.

Great to see Mercer have a good night, after the season he's had those guys needed that.

Even so, Morrow, in my opinion, he should be 'offered' an invite for winning the championship @ KD. Granted, Morrow doesn't have a car that could go to NH; that doesn't mean he couldn't rent, borrow or fabricate / modify one :)
