I actually wondered about Larry..sence I bealive(not sure) his car is for sale?  I don't know though.


but it would be nice to see some more LM's ...couple nights think there was under 10.

If you're referring to Jackson's car for sale advertised in Inside Track they have it listed as last year's track champion car at Kawartha so I don't think that means its the back up car.  But then again the add does say it is the black #84 so I'm not sure.

im just basing it off my seeing his black car at a flamboro invitational, it was announced as his backup car (which was evident because of the different paint scheme) and had FOR SALE written on it

This is what I know or have heard rumor of for the 2008 Kawartha Late Models

84 Jackson - both cars are for sale, heard he is still running, maybe not regular
99 Brown - for sale, not running at all
71 McHattie - full time
81 Mercer - specials, part time only. may change to full time
10 Morgan - full time
29 Smith - full time ??
7 Simopoli - part time ?? won 5star body award at banquet
01 Kimmerly - car for sale, running ??
97 Toms - probable part time, looking at crate
46 Mayhew - running his own car (#60)
46 Mowat - car sold to ??
88 Waite - to be driven by Chris Mitchell (#22)
5 Maroney - part time, never sure what he's doing
9? Watson - new McColl car
94 Roberts - returning
55 Thring - part time again ?
10B Balson - Flamboro p/t

This may not be 100% accurate but that's what I expect. Anyone know anything else, please post.

Hope some CCS cars make the trip west. 31 McPherson, 00 Munro and 1 Yendall did last season.

Anyone tell me about the car Chris Boeschler drove last year one time at Kawartha. It was #3 and was one sweet looking car. Not his Flamboro car and never saw it other than that night.

i had also heard that Linc was taking a year off and hoping to come back full time in 09, hopefully with a new car

There weren't that many full timers in 07 either ( 84,99,71,81,10,29,97,46 and 88 ). Every night their were a few part timers and travellers ( CCS ) so 14 cars should be the norm. I'm betting the CCS cars come this way a bit more often.

Yea, that's true...guess just had enough part timers, show up to fill out the fields each night(well most nights)

guess, well were talking Kawartha...anybody know about the LLM's for next year

Wasn't it last year Kawartha was talking about merging the LM and LLMs for '08? Im assuming that got taken off the table rather quickly...

Have heard Dave Horner ( former SLM driver ) has bought a LM for his daughter Jamie Horner ( #14 Thunder ) and they are converting it to a LLM for 08. Dave ran a new Howe LLM last year but got punted at Peterborough mid season. Don't think he brought it out again after that. Criag Graham ( the glazed ham ) will be returning. Amanda Connolly has her car almost ready but not sure where she is running. Hopefully a few nights at the Downs, if not a full season.
