...and build a freaking dragstrip at Mosport.

Serious? The oval is all but ignored there, and you want them to build something else to make it even more irrelevant?

The OMB hearing was held only a couple weeks ago. There was a deal struck between the track proponents and the objectors. This now clears the way for zoning and construction. When that will be and why they don't update their website who knows.

Sure everyone has given up following this fraud, but clicking to their website for a laugh brought up some interesting points.

"we’ll be ready to ramp up and gain a lot of lost development time. With initial construction planned in late Spring 2012,"

umm yeah... That's come and past.. Even funnier considering that is the most recent post. For such a large, international project like this, bit surprised they have not taken the time to update a website LOL

Still the clock is ticking down to early September next year, as if a major facility can be built in 14 months. Just in time to host the running of ??????

Yes it was all a fraud orchestrated by a moron who knew nothing about racing, and didn't care to learn to make his little scheme just a bit more believable.

Best part of the site;

"Attention CMS NATION:  We’ve received calls from companies and fans who have been offered tickets, contracting jobs, ground breaking event privileges and other items from Niagara based companies claiming to represent the Canadian Motor Speedway.  If you have been contacted by any company or individual offering the above, contact the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre at   http://www.antifraudcentre-centreantifraude.ca or your local Ontario Provincial Police."

Scammers out scamming the scam? If that isn't the pot calling the kettle black. Personally in their position I wouldn't post a link they themselves should be reported to.
