Not to much, a hand shake here and a hand shake there. lol  blah blah blah......nope no news......I was really hoping for the schedule but I was wrong.

This is what I have figured out so far just MY guess though so DO NOT quote me
Cayuga May 26 and Labour day
Mosport road  June1 6 & 17
Barrie July 1 and Sept 8 & 9
Sun Vally July 14 &15
Edmonton  I believe that race is the July 20-22
Montreal Busch race Aug. 4
Mosport Oval   Aug 12
Trois Rivers Aug 24
Nova Scotia Sept 14-16
Kawartha Sept 22

Remember this is only a guess.....I have been doing some math and that is how I see it happening.

It was rumoured  that Sauble Speedway was interested in a race. I guess it did not work out?

The only other tidbit I picked up on was that Canadian Tire has signed a 9 year deal.  I was hoping for a little more info as well.  Sucks to make a 4 hour trip for so little, but if we hadn't gone, there would have been lots of news that we'd now be hearing second hand.  So I guess it's our fault that there wasn't any.(that murphy's law thing)  :)

Why is the Montreal Busch race included in the schedule as these are two differance series and they shouldn't be considered the same as they are not and never will be.

Why does NASCAR include the Busch series at Nextel Cup races?

Were you even there racewoman?  I love how you come on here and you say stuff as if you were attendance.  Not to stir the pot or anything but I am trying to ask all my friends who were there with me and no one recalls seeing you there.  Did you have the placed bugged or something?  How do you know who shook whos hand who picked whos nose

I NEVER said I was there and if you re-read my post AGAIN I said  "Remember this is only a guess.....I have been doing some math and that is how I see it happening."  If you noticed I put lol beside where I wrote a hand shake here and a hand shake there.  :?

I didn't go to the reception to celebrate the inaugural season of the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series because of the weather.

voiceonthe1way  tell me something am I wrong or was there something that was announced? Or it it such a big serect? That it has to be kept in the dark. People want to know what went on.  Why don't you tell us?

I think that you are very close on the schedule Racewoman as for the meeting the big boys from Can Tire were there to confirm there support for the next 9 years and to explain all they are doing they had people there from there instore promtion team, from there flyer and print team, from TV and commercial side there are a lot of things going on and I know people don't think so but I think when it all comes out they will be surprised.

Thanks Mark for stepping up and letting us know.

I did say a couple of years ago that Canadian Tire would be coming on board it was just a matter of time.  I have ALWAYS stood behind the CASCAR team, drivers and crews, ever since I got invovled.  I still do. I know that things take time and I have always asked people to wait until all the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed.

Now that NASCAR is in it is going to be even more precise.

Good Luck to you Mark and you team.  See you at the track if not before

How many people were at this secret meeting for a secret club did you get the secret handshakes?  Glad to see that they want to get a rookie in the mix.   How many info banquets are there going to be? could they have one for each mystery race they will have?  I know lets have one on a Monday to announce the next weekends race.  Maybe this should be called the Mushroom series keep us in the dark and feed us..... you know the rest.

Keep the spin positive Mark , you sure don't want to get one of those phone calls like Kerry got .

Mark has been racing this for many years; T am sure he is used to what is happening right now. I believe him when he says when things come together they will be surprising. Ke is 'in the know' a lot more than you and why would he want to put a good spin on things if there was nothing good to say? I am sure Kerry would say the same thing as Mark, albeit they are both probably frustrated about the lack of information up until now.
