A Pro-Stock Dash for Cash highlights the schedule for this Sunday at Cornwall Motor Speedway!

Cornwall, Ont – Friday August 15, 2014 – Martin Bélanger – A new addition to the schedule that seems to please both the fans and drivers will occur this Sunday as the Pro-Stock will have their own Dash for Cash along with a full program in all other divisions as Jim`s Performance Plus will sponsor the evening.

With only 2 programs left counting towards points, a battle between two drivers for the Jiffy Auto Services Modified Championship will be to watch until the end of August as Chris Raabe and Stephane Lafrance only have 4 points between them. Carey Terrance will start missing time as he is sitting in third 30 points behind Raabe even thought he has 4 wins to his credit so far in 2014.

In the Wheeler-Forget Royal Lepage Sportsman, the scenario is similar to the Modifieds with Shane Pecore regaining the top spot with his 4th win last Sunday with a slight 16-point lead over Corey Wheeler as both drivers are currently alone in the point`s championship battle with reigning champion Joey Ladouceur sitting 71 points behind Wheeler in third.

Dave Bissonnette is looking strong leading the way in the Alexandria Home Hardware Pro-Stock moving up to a 34-point lead over Stephane Lebrun as 6 drivers will run in the Bandit Motorsports Dash for Cash with Marc Lalonde, Dave Seguin, Rosco Garreau, Dave Bissonnette, Terry Ladouceur and CD Beauchamp, participating in the event held during intermission time.

Having the best field of cars with 16 last Sunday in the Laminacorr Semi-Pro 15-lap feature, gave an excellent show. Will we see as much drivers this Sunday?

Veteran driver Chris James is having a great year in the Mini-Stock ranks leading the way in the championship, he has Marc Dagenais and Justin Desrosiers on his back bumper with only 2 events left for the division this season.

General admission price will be 10$ for adults, 5$ for Seniors 65 years and over, kids under 16 admission is only 2$ with the pits at 23$. General admission gates will open at 5:30pm with racing starting at 7pm sharp!
