Montess their site shows ISMA & Vintage Mods racing Sunday July12th and they show racing on Saturday but what who knows (maybe AVSS as their site shows Cayuga July 11th) as for ISMA on Saturday Oswego Speedway has $10,000 to win King Of Wings Super 50 .I would think alot of the big boys of ISMA will be there. You are right this track will have a hard time drawing fans not because of just things happening in the GTA but because the advertising has been the pits from the start of the year. How can anybody believe what is happening there when all info from the start of the year was not true.

They will have trouble filling the stands July 11th that is a big weekend around the GTA with many racing events.

In my opinion cayuga would need some full weekend to be successfull with some racing and a concert Friday night, some racing with street stock, late modle invitationals Saterday and a big show on Sunday than the could fill the campground, but they need to do it on a long weekend when other tracks don't have much happening. It used to work there and still does at some tracks.

wonder what racers and fans would like to see at cayuga and what is fair price to watch some racing, the good days are long gone and will never be back,

I had a whole big response written out and clicked post and it disappeared. AAARRRGGG >:(
Anyways I'll try to get it done again.

The price is the price and the market will tell you if it is too much or too little. I know when I had an apartment for rent years ago I had it advertised for $400 a month and I had no takers. I put the price up to $650 and my phone rang off the hook.

I think Cayuga was getting back on the right track when they brought ARCA in although the PR was dismal. Think back in the day with ASA etal. They need to try to get back on the same track but with dual cards like ARCA / NCaTS or NCaTS / OSS or OSSCAR / ARCA etc. This would make people want to go for the weekend more instead of the ARCA Truck / ARCA Cars deal. They should also try to work weekend deals with Toronto Motorsports park.

Also close your eyes for a minute and imagine a place where all the tracks in Ontario get along. I know its hard but stay with me. Negotiate one weekend where every track has an off weekend and have the mother of all invitationals for SS, LM, LLM, etc. Cayuga would be neutral ground. All the tracks would have a piece of the action. You could have heat races for each different track. You would have division features that would have cars from all tracks. Money could be paid for the overall winner and top finishers from each track within the same race. You would have multiple races within races. Imagine the promotion and sponsorship possibilities. The rules would allow for "innovation" to an max performace limit without peanalty. Cars don't have to have all the same rules to allow for payouts through the field. Think of the people who would show up for a weekend of racing like that from all over Ontario and probably Michigan and New York.

Now open your eyes and see what we have now.....Sometimes all it takes is a spark to start a fire.

I have to stop typing now before I start crying :'(

I put none but this poll is not going to give a truly accurate result as I have plans in those months.

That is the whole point Evan. Remember back in January when we were all excited about the upcoming Cayuga program? Then.......

I'll probably be going to the Supers especially if they honour the season ticket holder deal. Would have gone for the weekend if they had two days of racing but not a big fan of the hee haw music. I can only see myself taking part in the free pony rides for so long.

I would have definitely made the ARCA deal. Last year was a great race and I was looking forward to it this year.

I said none.  But in fairness, I probably wouldn't have been at any before the schedule contraction.  Well except I may have made the ARCA trip but I hadn't been making any plans to do so before the cancellation so it's hard to say if I would have made the drive.

With everything that has been happening with Cayuga this year I thought it might be interesting to see what effect this has had on fan interest in the two confirmed events they are having.

These options are the fewest I could think of and still get the mood of race fans here.

I'm thinking of doing the August deal but as of right now it is only a 30% chance.
