150-lap Bandit Motorsports Canadian Nationals this Sunday at Cornwall Motor Speedway!

Cornwall, Ont – Friday, July 31, 2015 – Martin Bélanger – One of the biggest nights of the year will be presented this Sunday at Cornwall Motor Speedway with a 150-lap event counting for the Bandit Motorsports Canadian Nationals, it will be the longest event present in this series. The Go Nuclear Late Models, Sportsman, Semi-Pro and Mini-Stock will also be on the schedule presented by Archers Poultry and Bank on Montreal.

When consulting the top 10 drivers in the Series, you can see a lot of talent and experience! Billy Dunn leads the way after 2 events as he finished second and won the last one. Danny Johnson, Carey Terrance, Stephane Lafrance, David Hebert, Steve Bernier, Mario Clair, Steve Bernard, Ryan Arbuthnot and Luke Whitteker completes the front 10. With 150 laps and $6,000 to win, we are expecting the best field of cars of the season with more than 30 cars in the pits.

Making their lone presence in 2015, the Go Nuclear Late Models will give an excellent show with a big field of cars on hand. Lee Gill currently leads the way in their championship over Charlie Sandercock and Chris Fleming. Drivers from Western Ontario and Central New-York will compose the field that will run the 30-lap event.

Corey Wheeler will look to extend his 30-lead over Ryan Stabler as the Wheeler-Forget Royal Lepage will run a regular 25-lap event. With only a few events left in the Polar Sound DJ Services Semi-Pro, the championship is really close with only 6 points separating Derek Cryderman, Adam Delormier and Pascal Racette, they will have a 15-lap event. The 12-lap Polar Sound DJ Services Mini-Stock are also on the card as the Pro-Stock will have a night off.

Admission costs will be 30$ for adults in general admission, 15$ for seniors and only 2$ for kids 16 years and under. Pit entry costs will be 40$. The gates will open at 1:30pm to allow hauler parking and general admission gates will open at 3pm with the first qualifying race at 7pm as time trials for modifieds will start at 6:30pm.
