I think they'd be perfect for a double-header weekend, but that's just me...

The best thing about is you can only run the 602, and you can only buy it from one GM dealership in order to run...

You know what else is funny? These LAMOT guys apparently don't have a complete racecar ready to go, so they're going to the big car show in Buffalo with a 350 crate engine only....lol...

MAARA got side-tracked when Joe Lewondowski (at least Im pretty sure that's his name) left Lake Erie for somewhere in NC, although they were kinda sidetracked when Jennerstown had its leadership change last winter too. I've heard they're definitely looking to bring it back for 2009, and I've also heard someone's putting up funds to have some sort of unofficial LM tour for this season...

EDIT: Holland has a "MAARA Late Model 75" race listed for sometime in July, who knows if it's a typo or not...

After looking at things, I applaud their enthusiasm, but at the same time I can't see any way for it to work. A couple of things done differently (headers, engine package, *maybe* tires) and they'd be alright, but I doubt they last the year.

From what I'm reading, it's being viewed by most people as the answer to the question nobody was asking...

If those rules stay the same I would really like to take our LM down there. Since you can run the quick change and 4 speed tranny we would only have to swap the engine and raise the car.

are you back at flamboro for 2008?

yes but we are only running a limited schedule. I may make an appearance with the LLM at sunset and other specials as well.

thats awesome man

hope to see you come out a couple times

Gord Trank will have the full rules posted shortly on the Holland Speedway website. FYI
