Question. When was the last OVAL Cup race where two Canadians made the show ? This is a question, not trivia, because I don't know the answer either.

If you mean Cup racing, my guess is Phoenix in November,1988. Roy Smith and Trevor Boys.

well good luck to all the cnadians. Carpentier is just geoing to be getting use to his new team these final 2 weeks for next year! good to see Kahne have a canadian teammate. As for Kennington, I think somebody should give him a shot with some good equipment, he definately has some talent.

Along with DJ in Busch, don't forget John Graham in the #37 Kickbutt Amped Energy Ballz (gotta love that sponsorship).......so in reality we have 4 Canucks that could potentially be running this weekend.

Absolutely right. My apologies. Inattentiveness combined with a bit of wishful thinking. I hope he makes it, too. He's got the talent. I'm not so sure about the equipment.

The Busch series doesn't qualify until Saturday. DJ is scheduled to qualify 40th. I hope he makes the race.

Jacques is also in the Truck race, where he qualified 14th. D.J. Kennington qualified 40th out of 47 for the Busch race. Carp qualified 24th for the Cup race, JV was 27th.

Both Jacques Villeneuve and Patrick Carpentier have both qualified for the Cup race in Phoenix. Good showing for a couple of go or go home teams, Eh?
