Sean Caisse!!
« on: October 22, 2007, 02:45:04 PM »
Sean Caisse is a very mature young man. After what happened to him on the track with a lapped car, he was very calm and mature in his words he chose to use in his interview. He thanked his sponsors, crew and all that a couple of times and didn't lash out on the driver who took him out even though Caisse had a dominating car. Many Cup drivers could learn a little something from this young driver. If a Truck or Busch team does not put Caisse into their equipment next year I will be very surprised. He is the best upcoming thing in all aspects of racing, not just being in the car but maturity level, press likeness and obviously fan appealing.....This young man is going somewhere! Darrel Waltrip said many good things about the young man and if someone like Waltrip can see how mature this young man is, I am sure many more will be looking closer at him!

He is the second best up and coming thing...You would be stupid to not put Joey Logano in front of him...lol

I don't care for the new Stepford drivers . Caisse was long gone and IMO was going to win that race going away . He was taking his time going through the lappers when that brain dead Mosses Smith (78) flat out wrecked him . I prefer a driver that gets out of the car hotter then a firecracker and says what he really thinks . Show me some fire show me some passion if i wanted nice and polite i would watch girls ping pong .

I would have been more impressed if Caisse had of gone over and took a leak against the side of Smiths car after that idiot wrecked himself out of the race .

Kahnefreak i wont disagree that you have to play the game these days but i prefered the old days when guys sorted things out behind the haulers or atlest got out of the car and called the guy a no good %$# of a  $%#@

Seems Carl Edwards thought about punching out his team mate yesterday .

well I see where you are coming from Joe. But having personally acted like a crazed lunatic when getting involved in incidents at the track, it gets you nowhere in the racing world. It's fierce competition but we have to remember that it's just competition. Leave the fighting to boxers. There's nothing wrong with remembering and paying back later on down the road. like a bump and run for a win as long as it does not put somebody in harms way.

i think joe is hoping for something in between t5he two polars listed here. dale sr could scare the bejesus out of most with a look and a couple of words, what i miss in cup and now busch is character, like em or hate em the Allison's,Petty's, tiny lund etc etc had character, they were not a cardboard cut out speaking the coprate line. i miss the likes of jimmy spencer, dick trickle and others that would speak their mind and let you know they were upset. the one time that i had any respect for jeff gordon as a racer(not driver there is a difference to me ) was when he got out of the car and had words with kennesth. stewart has this at time but it comes with a air of superiority that sickens me.

Character is alright to an extent, but swearing crosses the line. Now they have a 5 second delay so we don't have to hear that anymore. I like the odd controversy or bashing of another driver as much as the next guy does. But you have to give it to a young guy, knowing he had the dominant car, getting spun out by a lapped car and then taking it so well in interview. If a Cup leader was spun by a lapped car, there would be hell to pay! lol. Once in a while it's ok for drivers to get carried away. It's great to have character as well. But sometimes it is great to show a high level of maturity that shows the professionalism as well as the competitiveness of a driver.
