Here is a little history on Ohsweken Speedway for those of you that may be interested.

Track Length: 3/8th's mile / 0.375 miles, 1980 ft on outside
Front Straightaway Length: 400 feet wide
Back Straightaway Length: 400 feet wide
Front Straightaway Width: 70 feet wide
Back Straightaway Width: 70 feet wide
Corner Width: 80 feet wide
Degrees of Banking in Corners: 15 degrees
Pits Size: 28 acres
Seating Capacity: Not currently available
Track Record: 13.377 seconds
Track Record Holder: Kenny Jacobs (September 17th, 2005)

This track also has the cleanest pitside washrooms I have ever been in. They are air-condioned with automatic flush toilets.

Glen and Tina Styres are the owners very nice people easy to get along with. Adam and Clinton are great announcers. Glen in tech does his job very well, Dale is the new flag man and is awesome at it. The crew works very hard at keeping the track in great shape. The grounds are kept clean. How many tracks give you a garage bag when you go into the pits? Yes we do use it too.

Thanks Ohsweken for being #1 dirt track in my eyes....oops no pun intended.  ;)  Yes word of caution when going to a dirt track wear some type of glasses.  8)

We should run the OSS for one event at the end of this season to see how the Asphalt Late Models adhere to the track. Someone talk to Ohsweken's Owners and see if they are intreasted.

The ARCA series runs on Dirt as well, mayby we could start something new here.
If Ohsweken can get a sponsor for the event and enough of a budget I am sure every team would show up to be the first Stock Car series in Canada to do both Dirt and Ashpalt in years !!

How about the ' Whata Springs 100' ??  I am sure Gerry would go for this as it's in his backyard and would get allot of attention. Come on Gerry.... we need you to sponsor this event !!

I will start it off by donating $500.00 to the purse...
Who's in ??

RW, who was in the 23 car last night? Fanatastic job! Got sent to the back and still finished 2'nd! Little mix up at the start/finsih line to take the checkers, but awesome race!
