Another pretty rough and tumble night at Barrie Speedway for certain.. One really bad wreck at around the midway point of the 2nd LLM feature close to destroyed but if not at least badly damaged the top 2 in and the points Shepherd and Brown.. Basically the way I saw it... On a restart Brown and St. Onge made up the front row.. Going into 2 Brown would overcook the corner slightly and instead of allowing him to gather it up, St. Onge kept his foot in it got into Brown from behind forcing Brown to make contact with the 10 of Shepherd and 27 of Reckzin.. Shepherd then hit the inside retaining wall HARD with Brown, Shepherd, and Reckzin all done for the evening as a result.. In somewhat fairness to St. Onge, the 31 of Walt was also running to the inside of the 00 and 12 when this turn of events happened, so he didnt have alot of room to the inside to avoid some contact with Brown but I do think he could of and should of got on the binders a bit to avoid the castastrophe that ensued.. As that's the way I know Brown would of raced him.. That's the way I saw it at least.. The initial feature was relatively clean and incident free but that doesn't matter alot to the guys with badly damaged cars in feature two I would suspect.. Thunders also got off to another slow start with a couple early cautions but the race would find some flow after that and was a relatively good one for the rest of the 30 lapper. The Pure Stocks easily had the best feature of the night with only a single caution in their 25 lapper for a lazy single car spin in turn two on lap 17.. But I'm relatively tired here so onto the results... Once again these are very UNOFFICIAL but I do think they are pretty accurate!!! ;)
