Rip slapdown

Wasn't sure where to post this, so I figured it might as well be in the section for his favorite track. We lost Shane Crombie aka slapdown last weekend. Shane was the spotter for Brian Mercer and Steven Mathews. He was a fixture of the Ontario short track scene and will be dearly missed. Godspeed old friend!

Shane was a great guy as anyone who knew him will tell you. He had a great enthusiasm for racing and was always thinking of ways the sport could be improved. Beyond that though he was an intelligent, funny guy, someone I always enjoyed talking to when I ran into him. Simply put, Shane was one of the good ones and the world is a little worse without him in it. My sincerest sympathies to his family.

I feel so bad that I some how missed this post as he was a active member on CRO and he will be missed on here.

I have busy with health issues for many months and don't get too read all messages on here.
