Man...that is awesome. Always thought it would be neat if there was enough of a movement for this kind of thing to justify a club, sort of like the Vintage Mods, except with sedans.

There is a club like that in Quebec. Check this out: http://www.journalsport.ca/vintage/

That car rocks . Give all cars with a 50s body a 100 lb weight break and you will have a bunch of people run them .

What class is that car meant to run with?

He's going to race it in the Sportsman Division

Thanks for posting those Bruce, I hope it will bring smiles and warm hearts to those who where there back in the day.

I know it may not have been the best choice performance wise but to the hot rodder in me the cool factor makes it worth while I'm also hoping it it may bring some intrest from some potental sponsors.

Practice Night at Mosport Speedway May 13th

Last night we surprised Mother Nature by calling a Wednesday night practice session at Mosport Speedway. In spite of the short notice, we had a number of drivers show up to shake down their cars and break in some new tires to start off the 20th anniversary of Mosport Speedway.

The drivers in attendance were Dan Kimmerly, Phyllis Legge, Bill Northam, Brian Sudsbury, Brad Stevenson, Andrew McFadden, Terry Betts, Jim Rossiter, Ross Galbraith, Trevour Coppins, Dan Price, Steve Mayhew, Anthony Dibello, and Bill Ross.

One of the biggest surprises was the 1955 Pontiac of Dan Price and it certainly brought back some great memories of Pinecrest Speedway. J. Wally Nesbitt was on hand to get a picture of Dans 55 Pontiac.
