The World of Outlaws Late Models stopping at Cornwall Motor Speedway this Sunday evening!

Cornwall, Ont – Wednesday, June 14, 2017 – Martin Bélanger – It will be one of the biggest events of the 2017 season this coming Sunday at Cornwall Motor Speedway as the World of Outlaws Late Model Series will be stopping in town on a night sponsored by Twinleaf Stores!

World of Outlaws officials have confirmed between 20 and 23 cars that will be part of the Canadian Tour that also includes a stop at Brighton Speedway on Saturday evening. The field will include the top 12 in the Series points that is composed of some the elite of Late Model racing in Brandon Sheppard, Chris Madden and Shane Clanton, in veterans that can still cause some surprises in Rick Eckert, Brian Shirley and Chub Frank and some young guns looking to make a name on the national tour in Tyler Erb, Devin Moran, Eric Wells, Frank Heckenast Jr. Morgan Bagley and Joey Coulter.

Other drivers such as Dan Stone, Greg and Michael Oakes, regulars of the Northern Tour along with regulars from the Brighton Speedway will complete the field; we expect to see Greg Belyea, Charlie Sandercock and Andrew Reaume competing with an engine package similar to the tour regulars. The feature will be a 50-lap event with the winner leaving with a $10,000 share!

A complete race program is also on the racing card for Sunday as the Pro-Stock will be given a night off. We expect to see some great racing in the Modifieds, Sportsman, Novice Sportsman and Mini-Stock as the track has improved greatly compared to the initial weeks of racing.

The pit gate will open at 3pm with a cost of $55 and the general admission will open their doors at 4:30pm with a cost of $45 for adults, $23 for Seniors and 5$ for kids 16 years old and under. Time Trials for the World of Outlaws are starting at 6pm with the first heat slated for 6:30pm.

It is the only chance to see the World of Outlaws Late Models in this area, you do not want to miss this chance!
