Sunday morning, I left Barrie at 9:30 am for Peterborough Speedway in the rain for almost 2 hours, I had my doubts that I would see any racing. I left the speedway shortly after the 107 lap LM feature was over and believe it or not, it started to mist and fog. I arrived home at 9:30 pm to some left over turkey...

All in all, I got to see just over 7 hours of racing, took a bunch of pictures and I got to see a couple of friends. I have a lot to learn about racing, but I felt satisfied from a spectators point of view.

Kudos to Spencer Lewis, he did a great job. I heard him mention this website over the loudspeakers at one point during the day.

I'll probably go back next year. :)

It was an excelent day of racing. I didn;t really care about the feature cause i blew up on lap 10 of the 12 we ran, but i was freaking quick....It was my best fall colours...heat win and fastest qualifier! I had a hotrod, but unfortunately developed a blow bye condition and just tried to run it neways...It was a great weekend all in alll and they had to do what they ahd to do to get the show in. Whe the minis came off of four, for me neways, it was impossible to see anything till u got near the flag stand! I just put my foot in it...thought i walled it twice but was actually like 20 feet away...Great job to Spencer he made the LM really pleasureable with all of his knowledge. We needed it cause there were two hours of caution laps. lol...kudos spencer!

There was quiet a reaction when they stoped Walters to talk to him about jumping the starts...loud cheers..and some funny quote's

congrats to all the winners!

To tell the truth, I am not sure why they stopped Walters for "jumping the starts." He waited for the green to come out every time. Are you not allowed to race once the flagman throws the green? Seems strange to me!

to me..it looked like he jumped one of them forsure, I'm unsure of the rules there..but I thought you can't pass to the inside untill the line.

But then again they give the green so early.....I guess imo..you should just be able to go for it...like Walters did the one time.

Well why do they throw the green then? why dont they wait until the leader is close to the line? He didn't jump any starts, he just started racing when the green was thrown!

Thunder winner was the 49 from Sunset or Barrie. Connoly's old car. Pretty clean race until a few cautions later in the race. The 03 and 10 crews had it out a couple times in the field.

Wrong- Frank sold that car 8 years ago, and he built this Rocket from scratch!!! He was a Barrie Car this year.
