wade, thats an incredibly weak argument

because if the downfall of a series rests solely on wether it has a cage or not, the thunder car division would still be thriving at peterborough speedway

i mean, were they not real race cars?

C'mon guys, we're supposed to be getting excited over watching 10-12 trucks that aren't compatible with anyone else. I don't know about you, but there's a rush from 10-12 F4s, super-duper Street Stocks, Pro Challenge cars or whatever that you just can't get from watching 20-30 cars from the same class race at once...I'd even go so far as to say if I was involved, I wouldn't sell my equipment even if by some miracle I had some place to sell it. Why would I want to go run with 25-30 other trucks on occasion when I can run the same 10-12, who more than likely I've ran with week after week in other classes instead?

Not sure how racing a 4 cylinder truck is a stepping stone to a late model. Sounds like a different 4 cylinder class but you cut the springs and spend money on a nose piece.
I was all for 4 cylinder cars and trucks racing together at one time. Then i raced a 4 cylinder car with a 4 cylinder trucks. The 4 cylinder car, with sub frames doesnt hold up well to a full frame 4 cylinder truck in a wreck.
Grandbend has been trying to start a truck class with 8 cylinders and fiberglass bodies for 2 or 3 years? I've yet too see a truck there, but have seen pictures of one. With street stocks that place is tight to race, these mini trucks would be good for there.
