Sounds like by the sounds of it they are going to reopen the 1/4 track which was in the front stretch of the main oval and use this for the jcar style cars so does this mean they are working close with jcar to set this up .I donot know. Will jcar be running some of their 2009 schelude at Cayuga anything is possible. But it sounds like maybe they are going to be running their own race nights there like what Delaware does on Wednesday nights.Presume they would pick up cars that race on the Wednesday from that area.Do not no if any come to Delaware from that area .This would save time and money on these cars if there is.By the sounds of this track (Cayuga) this could be an exciting year there if they do everything they say they are.

maybe the jcar weekly thing can be or is a precursor to weekly racing returning to that hallowed track int he coming years? Hopefully cause I would love to run there.

I think the plan is to have JCAR stop in at Cayuga as part of their tour. Last time I talked to anyone at the track, weekly racing wasn't feasible. But maybe with the re-opening of the 1/4 track, weekly racing may return on the small oval. Other series' are apparently returning to Cayuga in 2009 and some would use the 1/4 mile track. Early indicators show a significant increase in the amount of racing at Cayuga in 2009.
