Any serious problems??

Not really the show ran off pretty well and was done by 10.15.

A few observations ... They have cut the grass and trimmed the weeds so you don't have to look through them to see the track . The multiple piles of junk and building materials, wood, shingles etc seem to be down to just 3 piles now with yellow caution tape around them . They seem to have replaced many of the rotten planks in the grandstand properly and not by just by putting a plank on top with 3 bent nails in them . On the down side could they please put at least one person in the consession booth that is over 16 years of age to over see the place ? The kids seem to be having a party but are in desperate need of a little supervision . The thimble size cup of coffee they sell is only a buck but it would be nice if they filled it up or even better how about a large size that I would gladly pay more for so I would not have to go back twice and line up for my caffeine fix , most people don't like their coffee to come in a shooter serving. Heres another idea , how about sending one of those kids out every now and then to clean up the condiments table that looked allot like a kindergarten class table after a finger painting lesson ?

I know I bitch more then Evans wife but these are things that I notice at race tracks .

2 cars from flamboro were there...10 people went, 6 usually would have sat in the grandstands but they all went in the pits...they said eveyone at the track was nice and treated them great and wish the track was closer to hamilton...lol...they understand its a race track and not a government funded sports facility and thank the owners for putting on the show.

There were only about 4 Sunset Thunder cars at the race because most of them felt they were at to big of a disadvantage having to run with the small tire rule etc.
There was a very small front gate but with so many cars including the Junk Yard Refugees I would say the back gate was around 300 which would translate into over $ 6OOO k more then enough to cover the purse before he ever sold a hot dog or a coke .

Pinecrest (king of canadian racing) lol, you are  so negative and anti Sunset, there were 818 people at the gate but they had a sign posted that said that "any one who has been barred from CRO for having a split personality is not allowed in" so 700 of us including, Joey W, Speedway Sue and Broadway left.

The facts are when the green flag dropped  on the first heat I counted every person in the grandstand and there was 118 people . After all these years I am pretty good at estimating how many people are in the pits and 300 would be fairly accurate and might be slightly high .

Team27 if you think they had 818 people there last night you should have Stevie Wonder as one of your internet nic names. I am not negative I am brutally honest.
